VP of Engineering – AI Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a highly technical Vice President of Engineering to lead and scale the infrastructure that powers our AI cloud platform. This executive role combines strategic ownership of infrastructure with hands‑on involvement in design, architecture reviews and critical production issues.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the architecture for GPU orchestration, compute scheduling, networking, storage and distributed systems.
• Build and scale large GPU clusters, optimizing provisioning, utilization and capacity management for AI training and inference workloads.
• Make strategic decisions on cloud infrastructure, bare‑metal deployments and platform scalability while participating in architecture reviews.
• Provide technical leadership, reviewing designs, acting as escalation point for complex infrastructure challenges, and establishing best practices for Kubernetes, observability, CI/CD, security and operational excellence.
• Establish and grow SRE and Platform Engineering functions, setting reliability standards and driving platform performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and scaling cloud platforms, preferably GPU‑native, for AI workloads.
• Track record of operating at the intersection of executive leadership and hands‑on engineering.
• Ability to spend 30‑40% of time directly contributing to technical design and implementation.
