Traveling Centrifuge Operator

About the role

HPC-Industrial is seeking a Traveling Centrifuge Operator to join its environmental services team. You will operate a variety of heavy‑equipment and processing units on client sites, ensuring safe and efficient waste handling.

Key responsibilities

• Operate decanter centrifuges, belt presses, filter presses and associated ancillary equipment such as pumps and conveyors.
• Run special equipment including centrifugal and positive‑displacement pumps.
• Operate 5K hotsy pressure washers for site cleaning.
• Unload waste from incoming trucks and secure containers with chock blocks or jack stands.
• Complete daily checklists, paperwork for waste tracking, and adhere to all safety SOPs.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by management to support Clean Harbors operations.

Required profile

• Vocational training with classroom safety instruction and on‑the‑job experience.
• Ability to understand English safety training and follow emergency instructions.
• Valid driver’s license; may need a TWIC credential.
• Capability to lift 50 lb and work in a team environment.
• At least 6 months of centrifuge operating experience preferred.
