Traveling Industrial Services Technician

About the role

HPC-Industrial, a Clean Harbors company, is seeking a Traveling Industrial Services Technician to support industrial cleaning, waste management, and tank cleaning projects across North America. The role involves operating and maintaining a variety of mechanical equipment while adhering to strict safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate valves, pumps, and monitor tank levels on client sites.
• Line end‑dump trailers and perform routine housekeeping.
• Assist with industrial waste treatment equipment and power‑tool usage.
• Inspect, hook up, and break down hoses and related equipment each shift.
• Manually clean, install, fit, and repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and other mechanical components.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and report any deficiencies.
• Wear required personal protective equipment and follow all safety procedures.

Required profile

• Physically able to lift and perform manual labor in a plant environment.
• Willingness to travel and work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Commitment to safety and ability to work as part of a team.

Required skills

• Valve and pump operation.
• Tank level monitoring.
• Trailer lining and housekeeping.
• Power‑tool operation.
• Hose hookup, breakdown, and inspection.
• Mechanical cleaning and repair of valves, caps, hoses, pumps, and gaskets.
• Basic tractor/trailer experience (preferred).
