SVP Corporate Controller

About the role

The Corporate Controller is responsible for the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of NBCUniversal’s consolidated financial results. Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Global Controller, the role partners with multiple corporate functions and serves as a senior advisor on all accounting matters.

Key responsibilities

• Drive monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a strong balance‑sheet focus.
• Oversee corporate accounting, global close and consolidation, financial reporting, and technical accounting policy.
• Assess and strengthen the control environment by reviewing control activities and identifying improvement opportunities in high‑risk areas.
• Represent corporate accounting initiatives, validating internal controls and developing global process standardization.
• Collaborate with Segment Controllers, Global Finance Operations, and corporate functions such as FP&A, Legal, Compliance, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, and HR.
• Engage regularly with Comcast controllership leaders on policy, controls, and judgment‑heavy transactions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate accounting, global close, and financial reporting within a large, complex organization.
• Proven ability to lead and improve control environments and internal‑control assessments.
• Strong partnership skills across finance, legal, tax, treasury, and other corporate functions.
• Senior‑level leadership experience, capable of advising finance executives on accounting matters.
