Strategic Recruiter for Sports Organization

About the role

The New Orleans Saints and Pelicans are seeking a proactive, strategic Recruiter to lead full‑cycle talent acquisition across both the NFL and NBA franchises and their affiliated business operations. This position focuses on building in‑house recruiting capabilities, reducing reliance on external agencies, and delivering high‑quality talent for exempt and non‑exempt roles.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruiting for a variety of positions, from entry‑level to senior leadership.
• Partner with hiring managers and senior leaders to define hiring needs, succession plans, and talent priorities.
• Proactively source passive and active candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, sourcing platforms, networking, referrals, and social media.
• Develop and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring demands.
• Execute targeted outreach campaigns and direct candidate engagement.
• Leverage applicant tracking systems, candidate relationship management tools, and recruiting automation platforms to streamline processes.
• Provide market intelligence and strategic recruiting advice to leadership.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in full‑cycle recruiting, preferably within a fast‑paced, high‑visibility environment.
• Strong sourcing and talent identification skills with a track record of engaging passive candidates.
• Ability to act as a strategic partner to hiring managers and senior leadership.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities.
