Staff Product Manager – Professional Experience

About the role

ShiftKey connects healthcare professionals with facilities across diverse care settings, and the professional experience—from the first shift to long‑term engagement—keeps the marketplace healthy. This role owns the end‑to‑end experience that makes professionals stay with ShiftKey, driving discovery, placement, earnings clarity, reputation building, and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Own the professional’s experience end‑to‑end, from discovery to placement and repeat usage.
• Define and own the Professional Lifetime Value metric and report it to leadership.
• Build and execute a retention strategy that keeps professionals active for years.
• Design systems for professionals to build reputation and be discovered by facilities.
• Make earnings transparent, explain why professionals earn what they do, and improve earnings pathways.

Required profile

• 7‑9 years of product management experience, with significant time on the supply side of a marketplace or platform.
• Proven experience solving engagement challenges, not just availability, in a marketplace.
• Comfort linking product decisions to unit economics and discussing them with finance.
• Strong data instincts – instrument before building and diagnose retention vs. discovery issues.
• Track record of partnering across team boundaries you don’t fully control.
