Services Staff Consultant – Pipeline Simulation

About the role

AVEVA is seeking a Services Staff Consultant to deliver pipeline simulation solutions for oil & gas customers. The role combines engineering design, software implementation, testing, and on‑site commissioning, supporting clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement pipeline simulation solutions using AVEVA’s Pipeline Integrity Monitor.
• Produce project documentation such as Functional Design Specifications, Acceptance Test Procedures, and custom user guides.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Engage directly with customers to capture requirements and provide training.
• Travel to client sites up to 25% of the time for installation and commissioning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Process or Petroleum Engineering.
• 1‑3 years experience in oil & gas pipeline transportation or related industry.
• Experience deploying or supporting software applications, preferably in pipeline simulation.
• Strong understanding of chemical engineering fundamentals and project execution.

Required skills

• Proficiency in C++ and/or Fortran.
• Basic computer networking knowledge.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.
