Senior Solutions Architect

About the role

Rescale is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead technical engagements with customers in the United States. You will work closely with prospects, customers, and internal teams to accelerate HPC workloads in the cloud using the Rescale platform.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute technical activities throughout pre‑sales engagements, including meetings, presentations, demos, and proof‑of‑concepts (2‑3 POCs per quarter for strategic customers).
• Analyze customers’ technical needs, current infrastructure, and workflows, and design tailored cloud migration strategies spanning 1‑5 years.
• Present Rescale solutions at conferences, user groups, and webinars, attending 2‑3 regional or national events annually.

Required profile

• B.S. in engineering, computer science, math, physics or equivalent (M.S. preferred).
• At least 5 years of software, hardware, or cloud experience in a technical role.
• US Person status required due to export‑control projects.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of high‑performance computing (HPC) disciplines such as CFD, FEA, molecular dynamics, etc.
• Experience with enterprise cloud environments, IaaS, schedulers, and scripting languages.
• Familiarity with HPC simulation software (e.g., ANSYS, Siemens, Dassault Systèmes, COMSOL, OpenFOAM, LAMMPS, GROMACS, NAMD).
