Senior National Account Sales Manager – Target

About the role
Mattel is seeking a Senior National Account Sales Manager to lead the partnership with Target across the United States. Based in our Minneapolis sales office, you will drive growth, manage strategic initiatives, and ensure alignment between Mattel’s brand vision and Target’s retail objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive Strategic Account Plans for Mattel’s brands at Target.
- Lead cross‑functional teams—including finance, supply chain, marketing, and senior leadership—to deliver on joint business goals.
- Manage trade spend, promotional activations, and planogram recommendations to maximize profitability and shelf space.
- Leverage market data and shopper insights to capture and grow market share.
- Conduct weekly buyer meetings and quarterly business reviews to monitor performance and adjust strategies.
- Collaborate with internal Marketing and Omnichannel teams to ensure strong retail execution.
- Prepare monthly forecasts, support order management, and meet Target’s service requirements.
Required profile
- Proven experience in national account management within the retail or consumer goods sector.
- Strong strategic thinking with a track record of driving revenue growth.
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to influence internal and external partners.
- Deep understanding of the retail landscape and omni‑channel dynamics.
