Senior Medical Writer – Promotional Medical Writing

About the role

Precision AQ is seeking a Senior Medical Writer to create high-quality promotional medical content for its pharmaceutical and life-science clients. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and clients to develop accurate, evidence-based materials that support market access strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary content lead on assigned accounts, delivering medically accurate print and digital assets.
• Develop value-proposition slide decks, advisory board materials, and internal training resources.
• Conduct literature reviews and annotate sources to substantiate promotional claims.
• Maintain proactive communication with internal stakeholders and pharmaceutical clients.
• Participate in medical, legal, and regulatory review meetings.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute ideas for new business proposals.
• Travel occasionally for client meetings.

Required profile

• BA/BS in life sciences or English combined with relevant agency experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in medical communications, pharma, or healthcare advertising.
• Strong written and verbal communication, high analytical ability, and ability to manage deadline-sensitive projects.

Required skills

• Command of American Medical Association (AMA) style.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Familiarity with scientific search engines such as PubMed and Google Scholar.
