Senior Manufacturing Supervisor

About the role

3M is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor to lead safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives at its Guin, AL facility. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams and the planning organization to drive customer‑first metrics while fostering a culture of trust and cooperation.

Key responsibilities

• Champion a world‑class safety culture in daily operations.
• Lead quality and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Collaborate with the Planning organization to meet customer‑first metrics.
• Manage the operating expense budget for the team and work group.
• Supervise production supervisors and team members, defining clear roles and expectations.
• Drive cross‑functional teams and programs to achieve continuous‑improvement goals.
• Implement Lean principles across manufacturing processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree plus at least five years of manufacturing experience, or a high school diploma/GED with nine years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum three years of supervisory or leadership experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to develop people and build a collaborative culture.
