Senior Counsel – Security Solutions (Legal)

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a strategic, business‑minded attorney to join the Services Legal team supporting Security Solutions (SSO). The Senior Counsel will focus on cybersecurity and threat‑intelligence product lines, advising on product development, commercialization, and sales across a global, regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel for the design, launch, and sale of cybersecurity and threat‑intelligence offerings.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements with customers, partners, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with data‑privacy, security, and financial‑crime regulations worldwide.
• Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, sales, and senior leadership to align legal strategy with business goals.
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise internal teams on emerging legal risks.

Required profile

• Qualified attorney with experience in technology, cybersecurity, or related legal practice.
• Demonstrated ability to work in fast‑moving, client‑facing environments.
• Experience navigating global regulatory frameworks for digital payments and security solutions.
• Willingness to be based in Purchase, New York or Miami, Florida.
