Senior Consultant – Life Sciences Strategy

About the role

Kx Advisors is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its life‑science strategy practice. You will work on high‑impact projects for leading pharmaceutical and medical‑device companies, guiding research, analysis and client deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor and coach small teams of junior consultants, overseeing research plan execution.
• Facilitate and lead portions of client meetings, acting as a direct resource throughout engagements.
• Apply qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to translate research into actionable insights.
• Develop clinical and commercial assessments using primary and secondary sources.
• Monitor clinical, regulatory and competitive landscapes, including trials, literature and conference abstracts.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, MBA) or BA/BS/MS with 1‑3 years of life‑sciences strategy consulting or biopharma experience.
• Proven ability to synthesize data, draw logical conclusions and lead workstreams.
• Experience presenting to internal and external experts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and people‑management skills.
• Creative, big‑picture thinking with strong attention to detail.
