Senior Communications Specialist – Executive Communications

About the role

Pinterest is seeking a Senior Communications Specialist to lead executive and internal communications for senior leaders and high‑visibility initiatives. You will craft clear, strategic messaging that aligns leadership voice with company goals and employee audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead executive and internal communications workstreams for senior leaders and priority initiatives.
• Draft and edit leadership messages, presentations, talking points, org updates, event remarks, and communications for sensitive moments.
• Partner with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams (Marketing, HR, Chiefs of Staff, Communications) to align messaging and drive execution.
• Build communications plans for org updates, leadership engagements, change‑related communications, and company‑wide events.
• Support project management for major internal and external events, including executive visibility opportunities.
• Establish and improve processes, templates, planning mechanisms, and review workflows to increase consistency, quality, and speed.
• Leverage AI and automation to streamline operations, reduce repeatable work, and enhance communications planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience in executive and internal communications, preferably at a large technology or consumer‑focused company.
• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to produce high‑quality, audience‑focused content.
• Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across functions.
• Project‑management mindset with a track record of delivering complex communications programs on time.
• Comfort with process improvement and adopting new technologies.
