Router Supervisor

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking an Inbound Router Supervisor for its Pembroke Pines, FL Service Center. The role oversees dock and dispatch operations, ensuring efficient handling of LTL loads and smooth coordination between drivers and freight handlers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage drivers and freight handlers, providing day‑to‑day leadership.
• Coordinate dock operations and schedule driver/freight‑handler assignments.
• Maintain safety compliance across all activities.
• Enforce quality freight‑handling procedures.
• Dispatch LTL loads in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager.

Required profile

• Proven basic leadership experience, preferably in LTL environments.
• Ability to lead in a fast‑paced setting.
• Strong organizational, communication and logistical skills with solid problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of quality freight handling is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Familiarity with Pembroke Pines and surrounding areas.
