About the role

This role leads patient care delivery within the Surgery Oncology Clinic, applying the nursing process, delegating to licensed and ancillary staff, and coordinating each patient’s plan of care.

Key responsibilities

Think critically and use the nursing process when delivering care and scheduling patients.
Accurately schedule, communicate with, and educate diverse groups and disciplines in a timely manner.
Delegate and manage nursing team resources, serving as a leader on the interdisciplinary team.
Use data and knowledge to evaluate and promote change for optimal outcomes.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
Current RN license in the state of practice.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Effective verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills.
