About the role

This 12‑week PRN assignment is located on the Orthopedic (MedSurg) unit at Kings Hwy. The Registered Nurse will deliver patient‑centered care using the Nursing Process while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

Apply the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members to ensure quality outcomes.
Educate patients, families, and staff on procedures, care plans, and health promotion.
Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team and manage nursing resources.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and hospital policies.

Required profile

Registered Nurse diploma; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
Current RN license in the state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and good judgment.
