Remote SEO Specialist (2+ years experience)

About the role

The Otte Polo Group is seeking a Remote SEO Specialist to join its Marketing team. You will support the execution and optimisation of SEO initiatives for local businesses, taking ownership of tasks and contributing to overall strategy and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical SEO audits and follow‑up on implementation.
• Monitor and troubleshoot crawling, indexing, and on‑page SEO issues.
• Manage internal linking, redirects, metadata, and site‑structure improvements.
• Support keyword research, content optimisation, and content refresh projects.
• Track organic performance, identify opportunities, and provide SEO QA for website and content changes.
• Analyse SEO data to spot trends, issues, and growth opportunities.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on SEO experience, preferably in a marketing agency serving local businesses.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a sense of ownership.
• Excellent time‑management and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
