Remote Human Resources Generalist

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Human Resources Generalist to support day‑to‑day HR operations for a U.S.-based company. This fully remote position will serve employees and managers across onboarding, employee relations, benefits, payroll support, recruiting coordination, and off‑boarding.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily HR operations and respond to employee and manager inquiries on policies, benefits, and employment matters.
• Coordinate onboarding from offer acceptance through the new hire’s first day, ensuring documentation and system access are completed.
• Handle HR support tickets, maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS, and support recruitment activities.
• Assist with off‑boarding, termination processes, exit interviews, and final pay coordination.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies in collaboration with payroll teams.
• Provide benefits administration support and answer employee benefit questions.
• Prepare HR reports, maintain compliance, and support HR projects and process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or similar role.
• Working knowledge of U.S. HR practices, policies, and employment processes.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and work independently in a remote environment.

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
