Registered Nurse – Night Shift (6 PM to 6 AM)

About the role

Lifespace is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join its night‑shift team (6 PM – 6 AM) at the Tyler, Texas community. You will provide direct nursing care to residents, ensure accurate medication administration, and support a compassionate, purpose‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing services to all residents on the assigned unit.
• Oversee physician orders, transcribe them accurately into the electronic health record, and administer medications and treatments.
• Supervise and mentor clinical and non‑clinical team members, providing leadership and discipline as needed.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to plan, coordinate, and evaluate resident care.
• Document resident conditions, nursing needs, and treatment outcomes promptly.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring seamless communication with pharmacy, laboratory, and other departments.
• Provide thorough hand‑off reports to the incoming shift.

Required profile

• Current Registered Nurse license and any state‑required certifications.
• One year of nursing experience in a long‑term care or senior‑living setting preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
