About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its In‑House Agency on a fixed‑term basis. This position supports the delivery of high‑quality patient care within the university’s clinical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients, including assessments, medication administration, and documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to coordinate patient treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a safe clinical environment.
• Respond to emergent situations and provide appropriate interventions.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced setting.
