Child Development Technician – Kids First

About the role

The Child Development Technician supports the Kids First program, providing direct assistance to children and families within the pediatric department. This onsite position involves collaborating with clinicians, maintaining program records, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for child development activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of child development assessments and interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, observations, and progress notes.
• Support the pediatric team in preparing materials and equipment for therapy sessions.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations in all program areas.
• Communicate effectively with families regarding program schedules and child progress.

Required profile

• High school diploma or associate degree in child development, early childhood education, or a related field.
• Experience working with children in a clinical or educational setting.
• Ability to obtain and maintain legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
