Regional Property Manager

About the role

The Regional Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the performance and profitability of a portfolio of residential properties within a designated region. This role develops and implements management strategies, ensures high tenant satisfaction, and optimizes financial returns for owners.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the portfolio and individual communities meet operational, financial, and business performance goals by inspecting properties, reviewing reports, and implementing action plans.
• Collaborate with Community Managers to achieve performance targets.
• Work with regional support services leaders to improve asset and team performance.
• Lead implementation of local and national operational initiatives and ensure adoption of revised protocols.
• Oversee and manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
• Prepare and present regular reports on property performance, financial metrics, and market trends to ownership and senior management.
• Foster positive tenant relationships and address concerns promptly.
• Implement tenant retention programs to minimize turnover and vacancy rates.
• Collaborate with leasing teams to develop and execute effective marketing strategies and maintain optimal occupancy.
• Oversee maintenance programs to ensure properties are well‑maintained and compliant with regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a portfolio of residential properties in a regional capacity.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial, market and operational data.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic action plans to improve performance.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate teams and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated commitment to tenant satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
