Regional Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

The Regional Infrastructure Engineer will design, deploy and maintain critical infrastructure components across ISP’s U.S. East and Canadian sites. This role ensures that network, storage, and telecommunications platforms meet the organization’s standards for scalability, security, and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain networks, storage systems, and telecom platforms in alignment with central architecture.
• Support disaster recovery, redundancy, backup and fail‑over systems for regional infrastructure.
• Collaborate with local facilities teams to ensure power, cooling and connectivity support IT services.
• Work with vendors to deploy, maintain and troubleshoot infrastructure solutions.
• Implement security controls such as firewalls, network segmentation and access management.
• Participate in regional projects including network roll‑outs, site upgrades and cloud migrations.
• Maintain accurate documentation, network diagrams and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or systems engineering, preferably in multi‑site environments.
• Proven experience with network architecture, server infrastructure and cloud services.
• Hands‑on experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and IT service management (ITIL).
