Recruiting Contractor - High-Volume Hiring

About the role

A Chicago-based fintech company is hiring a Recruiting Contractor to support high-volume hiring across its Contact Center organization. The role suits a recruiter or experienced Recruiting Coordinator who enjoys managing candidate pipelines, reviewing applications and keeping hiring processes organized. It averages 30-35 hours per week, with the option to go closer to 40 hours during peak periods, and is hybrid in downtown Chicago.

Key responsibilities

• Manage high-volume candidate pipelines across several Contact Center hiring classes
• Review applications and resumes and decide which candidates meet the qualifications
• Move qualified candidates through the HireVue video interview process and review their responses
• Coordinate candidate assessments and interviews, and schedule them while keeping candidates informed
• Support candidates through the offer process and keep accurate candidate statuses in the ATS
• Manage overlapping hiring classes and timelines, and partner with recruiters on hiring priorities

Required profile

• About 2-3 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, recruiting coordination or similar experience preferred
• Open to strong Recruiting Coordinators taking on more recruiting responsibility
• Experience with candidate pipelines, resume review and candidate dispositioning
• Strong organization, attention to detail and ability to handle many priorities at once
• Strong written and verbal communication, and comfort in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Applicant Tracking System (ATS) experience
• Greenhouse is a plus but not required

What we offer

• Pay of $35-$45 per hour
• Hybrid schedule: Tuesday-Thursday onsite, Monday and Friday remote, Monday-Friday availability preferred
• Start anticipated in November 2026, initially through about June 2027, with possible extension
• Team programming, onsite food and drinks, catered breakfast on Tuesdays and employee resource group events
