Project Executive

About the role

The Project Executive provides executive leadership and strategic oversight across multiple construction projects, guiding them from pre‑construction through closeout. This senior position ensures safety, quality, schedule, profitability and client satisfaction while supporting business development and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight of multiple projects, aligning safety, quality, schedule, profitability and client satisfaction goals.
• Lead business development efforts, including pursuit strategy, proposal development and client interviews.
• Direct pre‑construction and delivery strategies in partnership with estimating and operations teams.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with owners, OPMs, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Negotiate owner contracts and oversee subcontractor contract administration.
• Identify and resolve critical project issues to achieve operational and financial success.
• Develop, mentor and evaluate project leadership teams, supporting performance management and professional growth.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, safety programs and operating procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of experience in construction project leadership within a CM, CM‑at‑Risk or general contracting environment.
• Proven track record leading multiple project teams on large‑scale or complex construction projects.
• Accountability for project safety, quality, schedule and financial performance.
