Construction Superintendent

About the role

Suffolk is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead day‑to‑day activities on complex building projects. You will be the on‑site authority responsible for coordinating teams, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring project compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all daily job‑site operations and manage the performance of the project team.
• Maintain site conditions that meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to keep the schedule on track.
• Monitor budget adherence and report progress to senior management.
• Enforce compliance with all applicable codes, permits, and company policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Superintendent or similar role on commercial construction projects.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage multiple trades simultaneously.
• In‑depth knowledge of safety regulations and quality control processes.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
