Program Coordinator – Center for Student Engagement

About the role

The Center for Student Engagement (CSE) at Georgetown University seeks a Program Coordinator to serve as the primary point of contact for students, faculty, and staff. This role supports undergraduate learning and development by providing administrative assistance, advising student organizations, and managing campus programming.

Key responsibilities

• Greet walk‑in traffic, answer inquiries, and deliver front‑line customer service.
• Manage financial expenses and budgeting for student organizations.
• Supervise 6‑8 student staff, reviewing paperwork and training leaders.
• Maintain reservation calendars for CSE spaces and oversee equipment usage.
• Design and implement co‑curricular programs, event logistics, and leadership development workshops.
• Create reports, monitor supplies, and support CSE staff with programming logistics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and 1‑3 years of experience in student activities, advising, or student affairs.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work flexibly in a dynamic environment, and maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
