Production Operator

About the role

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Production Operator to join its manufacturing team in Minden, LA. The role supports safe and efficient production of energetic materials, handling equipment, materials, and finished‑goods packaging in a high‑hazard, regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute production activities such as operating equipment, staging materials, weighing, and packaging finished products according to standard procedures.
• Follow all safety requirements, including PPE, explosive handling protocols, and site‑specific procedures.
• Accurately record and communicate production data, batch information, and material usage for traceability and compliance.
• Transport materials and finished goods using forklifts and other approved equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping, inspect work areas and equipment, and report issues to support safe, reliable operations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required federal and state explosives licenses, including background checks and drug screening.
• Willingness to work in an industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to outdoor conditions and physical demands.
• Capability to follow detailed procedures and work safely in a regulated, high‑hazard setting.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb regularly and perform standing, walking, and manual handling tasks.
