Production Operator – 2nd Shift (Sheboygan Falls)

About the role

Join Spartech’s manufacturing team in Sheboygan Falls, WI as a Production Operator on the 2nd shift. You will work on the slitting department, supporting the creation of thin‑gauge plastic sheeting used by medical, food, and graphic arts customers.

Key responsibilities

• Operate extrusion and material‑handling equipment to produce high‑quality plastic sheets.
• Assist the primary operator during changeovers and ensure smooth production flow.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Read and interpret shop orders, communicating any issues to the shift lead.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including line and equipment sanitation.
• Operate forklifts as needed and follow additional directions from supervisors.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.
• Strong organizational skills and self‑motivation.
• Willingness to work 12‑hour shifts (preferred) and undergo pre‑employment drug screening and background check.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Windows).
• Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
• Forklift operation.
• Plastic extrusion knowledge (preferred but not required).
