Procurement Service Liaison

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a Procurement Service Liaison to act as the strategic bridge between internal operations, external suppliers, and Airbus affiliates worldwide. The role ensures critical and AOG parts are delivered on time to keep aircraft flying.

Key responsibilities

• Customer interface and facilitation (40%): build rapport, manage issues and complaints, ensure on‑time delivery and 100% customer satisfaction, and coordinate operational needs with internal departments.
• Support and process management (40%): lead forecast reviews, risk mitigation meetings, expedite materials, manage purchase orders, handle service requests, and oversee inventory controls to prevent shortages or over‑stocking.
• Metric assessment and analysis (20%): prepare status reports, assess capacity and readiness, track quality notes, and collaborate on supplier assessments and risk mitigation plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (4 years experience) and at least 7 years of supply‑chain or project‑management experience.
• Minimum 5 years in the aviation industry, knowledge of FAR/DFAR, strong data‑analysis and logistics capabilities.
• US person under ITAR definition, able to work onsite in Columbus, MS (approximately 95% onsite).

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel.
• Strong SAP and MRP system knowledge.
• Forecasting and supply‑chain planning expertise.
