About the role
Rose Harper Law, a personal injury firm operating in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, seeks a full‑time remote Legal Assistant to support attorneys in case management and client communication.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain client communication, schedule appointments and ensure prompt medical treatment after intake.
- Gather, order, track and obtain medical records, bills, imaging reports and other case‑related documents.
- Prepare legal documents, keep demand‑ready files organized and monitor lien status throughout the case lifecycle.
- Educate clients on treatment importance, case process and expectations while reducing frustration and attrition.
Required profile
- 2+ years of personal injury case management or legal support experience.
- Strong understanding of medical treatment workflows, records and lien management (Medicare/Medicaid preferred).
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
Required skills
- Proficiency with case management software and document systems (e.g., Time Doctor).
- Experience with legal research tools and standard office software.
