About the role
This part‑time position provides safety and security for the campuses of Chattahoochee Technical College. The officer patrols assigned areas, manages traffic, and enforces parking regulations while responding to incidents on campus.
Key responsibilities
- Patrol campus buildings and grounds to ensure safety.
- Manage traffic flow, enforce parking rules, and investigate traffic incidents.
- Investigate vandalism, theft, violence and make arrests as needed.
- Perform administrative duties and maintain required certifications.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current Georgia P.O.S.T. certification in good standing.
- Valid Georgia Class C driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to complete pre‑employment drug test, background check, and other post‑offer requirements.
Required skills
- P.O.S.T. certification.
- Firearm qualification.
- Valid driver’s license.
What we offer
- Hourly wage of $22.00, up to 29 hours per week.
- Direct‑deposit payroll.
