Partner PR Manager – AWS Communications

About the role

Amazon Web Services is looking for a creative public‑relations professional to lead communications for the AWS Partner Network and AWS Marketplace. The role blends storytelling, media relations and partner collaboration to showcase innovative cloud and AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute proactive media strategies for the AWS partner portfolio and AWS Marketplace, identifying story ideas and securing coverage in technology, business and AI media.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with technology and business reporters, editors, podcasters and influencers covering cloud, AI and enterprise software.
• Write press releases, media pitches, bylines, talking points, Q&A documents and thought‑leadership content that translate complex technical concepts into clear narratives.
• Partner with partner marketing and executive communications teams to create news moments, launch programs and joint thought‑leadership initiatives.
• Design and run Marketplace‑specific communication programs that highlight capabilities, customer and partner success stories, and strategic differentiators.
• Support executive thought leadership, preparing spokespeople for media interviews and developing briefing materials.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional communications or public‑relations experience, preferably in B2B high‑tech environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations or a related field.
• Strong writing ability with a journalist’s instinct for newsworthy stories.
• Proven track record of managing high‑volume media opportunities and navigating ambiguity.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with reporters and partner executives.
