About the role
Columbus Technical College is seeking a part‑time Phlebotomy Instructor to deliver classroom, laboratory and clinical training for aspiring phlebotomists. The role combines teaching, curriculum development and student support within a supportive college environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide classroom, lab and clinical instruction to phlebotomy students.
- Develop lesson plans, course outlines and instructional materials aligned with state standards.
- Assess student progress, give feedback and maintain certification documentation.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed in training and clinical settings.
- Participate in faculty meetings, workshops and professional development activities.
- Assist with student recruitment, retention and job placement efforts.
- Collaborate with colleagues and administration to meet academic goals.
Required profile
- Current certification in Phlebotomy (e.g., AMT, ASCP, ASPT).
- At least one year of recent phlebotomy experience.
