About the role

Columbus Technical College seeks a qualified individual to join its Accounting department as a part‑time adjunct instructor. You will deliver classroom instruction, develop lesson plans, and assess student progress across multiple counties in Georgia.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and deliver lesson plans for accounting courses.
Evaluate student performance against learning outcomes.
Maintain consistent syllabi, tests, and course materials.
Ensure classroom and lab safety in compliance with college policies.
Select appropriate educational resources and materials.
Assist with special events, projects, and activities as needed.
Potentially teach high‑school students and travel to off‑campus locations within the service area.

Required profile

Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Accounting or a related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Accounting.
CPA certification is preferred.
Prior teaching experience at the college level is desirable.
