Mechatronics Technology Part‑time Instructor

About the role

Columbus Technical College seeks a part‑time Adjunct Instructor to teach Mechatronics Technology. You will develop lesson plans, deliver classroom and hands‑on lab instruction, and assess student progress while ensuring a safe learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans for both theory and lab sessions.
• Evaluate student performance against program goals and objectives.
• Maintain safety and security standards in all training areas.
• Potentially teach high‑school students and travel across multiple counties within the service area.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Systems, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of recent experience (within the past five years) in Mechatronics or Industrial Maintenance.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office suite).
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
