Part-Time Community Assistant – Union on Alley Student Living

About the role

The Community Assistant supports the property management team at Union on Alley, a student‑living community, by handling administrative, leasing, and resident‑service tasks. This part‑time position helps achieve occupancy and retention goals while ensuring a welcoming environment for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Perform office admin duties such as copying, filing, preparing notices, handling resident calls, and organizing rent payments.
• Assist with leasing activities: conduct virtual tours, respond to online inquiries, greet and qualify prospects, give property tours, and show apartments.
• Generate lease paperwork, organize resident lease files, and support move‑in/move‑out processes.
• Answer incoming calls, schedule prospect appointments, and conduct on‑campus marketing outreach.
• Coordinate resident events, distribute flyers, newsletters, surveys, and late notices.
• Serve as after‑hours liaison, responding to emergencies and covering at least one on‑call shift per week.

Required profile

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including mandatory move‑in/move‑out dates and on‑call shifts.
