Paralegal – Probate Specialist (California Law Firm)

About the role

Savvital is looking for a highly organized and proactive Paralegal to support a California‑based law firm with probate matters. You will work closely with attorneys, handling legal drafting, research, court filings, and client communications while ensuring compliance with California probate procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Draft probate pleadings, petitions, motions and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research to support attorneys on probate issues.
• Manage court calendars, filing deadlines and prepare accurate filings.
• Respond to client emails, conduct calls, and maintain professional communication.
• Organize case files, track progress and coordinate with attorneys to meet deadlines.
• Provide additional legal and administrative support as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, Paralegal certification or equivalent legal qualification (preferred).
• Previous experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant (required).
• Experience handling probate matters and familiarity with California probate court procedures (strongly preferred).
• Experience supporting U.S.‑based, especially California, law firms (advantage).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with legal case management software (preferred).
