Night Shift RN – Nephrology Unit on Kings Hwy

About the role

This full‑time night‑shift position supports patients in the Nephrology Unit at Kings Hwy. The Registered Nurse applies the Nursing Process, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and ensures high‑quality patient outcomes while respecting cultural diversity.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the Nursing Process and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code, and Scope & Standards of Practice.
• Assess learning needs, provide education to patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary staff, acting as a leader on the unit.
• Utilize data and evidence‑based practice to drive improvements and achieve optimal outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, accreditation standards, and the organization’s privacy and conduct policies.

Required profile

• Education: Registered Nurse diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience: No prior experience required; entry‑level candidates are welcome.
• Certifications: Current RN license in the state of practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Additional: Ability to perform essential physical tasks, including occasional lifting of up to 50 lb, and exposure to blood/body fluids.
