Night Shift Maintenance Mechanic

About the role

Ocean Spray is seeking experienced Maintenance Mechanics to work the night shift at its 400,000‑sq‑ft Kenosha bottling plant. You will perform electrical and mechanical upkeep on high‑speed production equipment to keep the line running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular and preventive electrical/mechanical maintenance to eliminate unscheduled downtime.
• Support line operations, troubleshoot equipment issues, assist with rework, coverage, and changeovers.
• Answer line calls, train operators and fellow mechanics, and rebuild or fabricate parts as needed.
• Create and close work orders in the CMMS system, interpret blueprints, schematics, and ladder diagrams.
• Maintain safety compliance using lock‑out/tag‑out, confined‑space, and hot‑work permits, and follow NEC/NFPA codes.

Required profile

• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), PLCs (Allen Bradley), conveyor systems and servo motors.
• Ability to work 12‑hour night shifts, 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent and ability to pass the initial assessment.
• Valid forklift license (training provided) and willingness to operate lifts safely.
