Production Supervisor

About the role

Ocean Spray is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead team members in achieving plant‑specific objectives. You will train and coach staff, drive continuous‑improvement projects, and ensure a safe, compliant work environment while supporting positive employee relations.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate job expectations, plan, monitor, and appraise results; coach, counsel, and discipline employees.
• Develop and execute flexible production plans, schedule personnel, and resolve operational issues.
• Maintain workflow by monitoring process steps, equipment, and control points; implement cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with FSQA, safety, and quality standards; direct safe use of equipment and resources.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects and support cross‑departmental cooperation.
• Perform administrative duties such as vacation, payroll, discipline, performance reviews, and budget monitoring.

Required profile

• Knowledge of operations, processes, and machinery.
• Strong problem‑solving and leadership abilities.
• Excellent organization, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to train, multitask, and manage change.
