Maintenance Supervisor – 3rd Shift

About the role

Ocean Spray is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the 3rd (night) shift to lead plant maintenance activities. You will ensure timely, productive maintenance of equipment and systems, direct staff, and support budget planning and food safety initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and facilitate daily activities of skilled employees to complete preventative and corrective maintenance safely, on time, and cost‑effectively.
• Maintain product quality, equipment performance, and operator standards while preserving fixed assets and recommending new equipment purchases.
• Assist in developing the maintenance budget, monitor plant spending, report operating costs, and alert management to cost or labor overruns.
• Collaborate with plant functional managers to foster positive employee relations and advise on safety, scheduling, training, and grievance issues.
• Partner with Human Resources to hire, train, develop, and appraise staff, taking corrective action as needed.
• Work with EHS to ensure environmental compliance and promote food safety reporting.

Required profile

• BS/BA in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and ability to lead teams or work independently.
