Neuropsychologist (Contract, 1099) – Puerto Rico

About the role

Lyra’s Center of Excellence for Neurodiversity is seeking a contract Neuropsychologist to deliver comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for clients of all ages. The role involves collaborating with families, psychologists, therapists, and psychiatrists to provide whole‑person, whole‑family mental health care, both in‑person and virtually.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations and interpret a wide variety of test batteries.
• Supervise psychometrists to ensure accurate data collection.
• Prepare detailed evaluation reports and concise summary documents for clients, families, and referring providers.
• Deliver clear feedback sessions explaining findings, diagnoses, and personalized recommendations.
• Collaborate with the patient’s care team to coordinate treatment planning.

Required profile

• Doctorate degree in Psychology from an APA‑accredited program.
• Relevant internship or fellowship in neuropsychology (preferred).
• Licensure in California or New York preferred; PSYPACT authorization or eligibility preferred.
• Experience conducting testing both virtually and in person.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
