Medical Device Account Executive - Houston, TX

About the role

EnsoData, a healthcare software company using waveform AI to analyze sensor data, is looking for an Account Executive based in Houston, TX. The role focuses on growing the EnsoHST solution to sleep clinics and referring physicians. The position is remote, with a base salary of $90,000 and uncapped commission potential, and covers the Houston, San Antonio and Austin territory.

Key responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers, generate and convert leads, and sell solutions to sleep clinics and referring physicians
• Exceed the monthly revenue quota and stay on the road
• Coordinate the sales process with marketing and the Sales Solutions Engineer for demonstrations
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with the Regional Sales Director and/or Chief Commercial Officer
• Maintain customer details in the CRM (HubSpot)
• Help develop and refine sales and marketing strategies
• Represent EnsoData at shows and travel for onsite demonstrations

Required profile

• 2-5 years of account executive and/or sales experience
• Ability to travel up to 60% of the time in the territory
• Hunter mindset, clinical aptitude, business acumen and strong work ethic
• Experience with remote and hybrid teams
• Must live in the territory; sponsorship is not supported

Required skills

• CRM experience such as HubSpot or Salesforce
• Preferred: healthcare software sales, SaaS or medical device sales knowledge
• Preferred: sleep medicine and home sleep testing sales experience, and startup or tech sales experience
