Mechanical Foreman – Lead Installation Projects

About the role

The Mechanical Foreman leads mechanical installation projects at customer sites across North America, overseeing crews, ensuring safety, quality, and on‑time, on‑budget delivery of conveyor and material handling systems.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute conveyor system layouts, pre‑assembly, and on‑site installation.
• Lead installation of structural steel elements such as header steel, platforms, and frameworks.
• Install conveyors, guardrails, and rack systems with focus on alignment and operational efficiency.
• Perform equipment detailing, run‑in testing, and validate mechanical assemblies before commissioning.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks, maintain safety documentation, and ensure compliance with OSHA and site policies.
• Mentor and train less experienced personnel and coordinate with project teams and contractors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or specialized training preferred.
• 2–5 years experience installing or maintaining conveyor or material handling equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel 100% to customer sites across the United States.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lb and work in varied construction site conditions.
