Manufacturing Test Engineer

About the role

Cornelis Networks is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to support its high‑complexity networking hardware production. The role bridges engineering and manufacturing, ensuring functional test processes are robust for contract manufacturers and new product introductions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and document functional test procedures, design PCB test fixtures, and train contract‑manufacturer technical staff.
• Lead troubleshooting and failure‑analysis for production and RMA test failures, monitoring trends.
• Act as liaison for New Product Introduction, creating test strategies and supporting prototype needs.
• Maintain test software versions, apply change controls, and provide ECO updates across manufacturing sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (advanced degree a plus).
• 3+ years in a technology‑focused manufacturing or test engineering environment.
• Hands‑on experience with functional test stations, FPGA or programmable components, and PCB assembly/rework.
• Strong analytical skills with familiarity of high‑speed protocols such as I2C, SPI, USB, Ethernet, and PCIe.
