Maintenance Technician – Placentia, CA

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Maintenance Technician to join our property management team in Placentia, California. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform repairs in accordance with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks on building systems and equipment.
• Prepare units for new residents (“make‑ready”) by addressing any defects and ensuring they are move‑in ready.
• Provide on‑call support as required, working a Tuesday‑Saturday schedule.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of property maintenance experience.
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
• Willingness to be on‑call and work flexible hours.

• Mechanical and electrical systems troubleshooting.
• Plumbing repair and maintenance.
• HVAC servicing and preventive maintenance.
