Maintenance Supervisor – Chelsea Museum District

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that all interior and exterior building components, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the Chelsea Museum District community meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time position combines hands‑on technical work with supervisory responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and local codes.
• Oversee the make‑ready process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, and coordinating vendors and contractors.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and mentor maintenance staff, delegating tasks and monitoring performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or facilities maintenance, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, codes, and safety regulations.
• Ability to diagnose technical problems and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple work orders simultaneously.
