Logistics Specialist – Shipping Operations & Customer Experience

About the role

Black Box is looking for a proactive Logistics Specialist to streamline shipping operations and enhance the customer experience across domestic and international supply chains. The role works on the 2nd shift and acts as the central hub coordinating sales, operations, vendors, and 3PL partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of shipping routes and deliveries, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and cost control.
• Anticipate and resolve potential issues with freight, packaging, and delivery for customers and vendors.
• Communicate transportation requirements internally and externally.
• Process customer compliance requests and coordinate with suppliers and product engineering to secure necessary documentation.
• Pull, stage, and quality‑check orders for delivery; receive and put away shipments.
• Maintain material trackers, resolve accounts‑payable issues, and track all deliveries.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar logistics or supply‑chain role.
• Willingness to work the 2nd shift.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask across multiple projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP (or a comparable ERP system).
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
• Experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, and asset management.
